How façade design moves sales

Mango Studio21 March 20266 min read

A pedestrian decides in roughly two seconds. A façade is designed to win those two seconds.

Walking past your shop, a pedestrian looks for two answers: what is sold here, and is it for me?

The façade has to answer both at once. The name answers the first; material and light quality answer the second.

The most common mistake is filling the façade with information. Six messages, three typefaces and four colours mean none of them get read.

Our hierarchy is simple: one name, one category, one invitation. Everything else moves down to the window.

The result is measurable: after a façade rework, operators usually report a lift in spend per visitor rather than raw footfall — because the right visitor walks in.
